Our Tax Department is looking for an entry-level Tax Associate. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation of state and local tax filings for designated businesses.
- Utilizes various reports to complete tax forms and documents.
- Processes draft tax returns, obtains checks and ensures returns are filed / mailed in a timely manner.
- Creates and maintains files of reports, documents and filings.
- May gather data to compile reports and / or create ad hoc reports as needed.
- Complies with appropriate regulations and / or company policies / guidelines.
- Contacts other departments and / or outside agencies to resolve problems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
