Director of QA, Risk Management,& Compliance

Beckett Springs is a 96-bed behavioral hospital located near Cincinnati in West Chester, OH. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents and their families. Position Details:
  • Director is responsible for development/administration of Performance Improvement, Risk Management, and Staff Development activities throughout the hospital to ensure that all state, federal, TJC standards for care consistently met.
  • Collects and analyzes data on hospital performance, incidents, and documentation to improve hospital performance and ensure provision of quality care.
  • Works closely with all Department Director's to recommend/provide required staff development and tailored programs based upon data analysis.
  • Monitors, investigates, and as required, reports all hospital incidents

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a health related field preferred, or Bachelor's degree in a health related field with equivalent in a psychiatric hospital.
  • CPR and CPI Certification within 30 day of employment

Experience:
  • Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients preferred

The Risk Management & Insurance Internship offers an individualized experience for each intern that will provide an experience working for a commercial specialty insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

Within their assigned business units, interns will work on meaningful, high-impact projects or assignments in areas such as: underwriting, claims, product research, marketing and/or finance. In order to gain a broadened perspective of the business, interns will also have the opportunity to meet with individuals who work in the other various functions within the group.

Networking
Risk Management and Insurance interns will participate in activities with other interns, employees and leaders throughout the organization. In addition to the on-the-job learning that takes place, interns also attend lunch-n-learns to further develop their business knowledge.

The Risk Management & Insurance internship is an excellent way to grow personally and professionally, while making first-hand contributions to one of the nation's premier property and casualty insurers.

Qualifications

Eligible students will have a 3.5 GPA or higher; proven leadership skills through work experience (prior internship/co-ops a plus) and extracurricular activities; superior communication, analytical, planning, and organizing skills. Seeking students that are of a Junior status.

Housing accommodations and competitive salary are provided. Internships typically consist of a 10 week period over the summer.
