The intern provides substantial assistance to a top producing financial advisor in a well-established financial planning practice located in downtown Columbus, OH.
Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. Your contributions will be an instrumental role by helping to conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced – and friendly – financial advisory office.
This will be a paid internship and there is free onsite parking. Training will be provided on-site as well, as this internship is an integral step in you learning the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 and currently enrolled in an accredited 4 year institution
- Preferred major/concentration in Financial Planning

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client meeting preparation
- Client meeting follow-up tasks, including preparation of reports, analysis’, and client deliverables
- Draft emails to existing and prospective clients for planning meetings meetings and follow up on administrative tasks
- Assist in new client on-boarding processes, including creating PMM packets
